were able to get them to talk, you would learn that their arsenal undoubtedly contains several big bass specialty baits that are manufactured in Japan. This phenomenon is not by coincidence, but rather the direct result of the vision and foresight of some big-name lure manufacturers on both sides of the Pacific Ocean. One such company is "Fish Arrow", a division of the famous UOYA, LTD, headquartered in Osaka, Japan. Fish Arrow is run by Takeshi Matsumoto, who is considered one of the best trophy bass anglers in Japan.

Volunteer Tournament Officials Hold the Key to Success for the HBC

When Ken Huddleston first had a vision of sponsoring a series of trophy bass tournaments, he sought out the experience and reputation of long-time Southern California tournament director Ron Cervenka. "Having anyone other than Ron run these tournaments never even entered my mind," recalls Huddleston.
