Roboworm, one of the country's largest and most popular soft plastic bait manufacturers, is pleased to announce the release of their all-new "E-Z Shad" swimbait at HBC-4 on Friday morning, March 13th at Lake Don Pedro.
"We have been working on the new E-Z Shad swimbait for over a year," notes Mike Brakebill of Roboworm. "A few of our pro staffers have been field testing them for us for the past year and have had outstanding results with them, including Aaron Martens at the recently concluded Bassmaster Classic. In fact, Aaron begged us not to release it just yet," adds Brakebill
The New Roboworm E-Z Shad is five inches long and features a unique bell-shaped tail that keeps the bait running perfectly true whether you slow-roll it or burn it back to the boat. But by far, its greatest feature is its top fin, which shields the tip of the hook and makes the bait virtually weedless.
"You can throw this bait into the nastiest stuff and it won't hang up. The top fin shrouds the hook point, yet the hook is almost completely exposed, which allows you to get a great hook set. Like that old TV commercial saying goes 'One bite and we've got you'," kids Brakebill. The new E-Z Shad will be released in three popular colors: SXE Shad, Rainbow Trout, and Hologram Shad, with additional colors coming out in the near future.

"We are very excited that Roboworm is using HBC-4 to launch the release of their new E-Z Shad swimbait," says HBC co-founder Ron Cervenka. "Each HBC-4 Angler and VTO will receive one of these awesome new baits when they check-in on tournament morning. I'm telling you, these things are going to kick some serious butt on big bass everywhere, and HBC-4 Anglers and VTOs are going to be the very first to get their hands on them. Roboworm has been a great sponsor of the HBC from the very beginning," Cervenka adds.
Roboworm plans to ship their new E-Z Shad swimbaits to their tackle retailers right after HBC-4.
